When Patricia tweeted me regarding her family shoot and told me it was 12 family members that would be at the same place, at the same time…for once in a really long time- I was thrilled with the idea! Patricia, is a talented makeup artist in Jacksonville and one of the sweetest people I know! And her little boy, Sebastian will melt your heart with those gorgeous big, brown, eyes! You can smell love and unity all over this group of lovely people! One of the benefits of working with large groups of family, is seeing the different character of each family member and how they all come together in perfect harmony. We feel blessed to have been able to photograph such a special day for Patricia with her husband, son, grandmother, siblings, father, niece and nephew! We had so much fun and laughs with Patricia and her family, we felt we were part of the family!

We really couldn’t pick favorites from their session, all the images are so full of emotion and unique in their own way! But here are a few that our readers can enjoy-full of the family’s laughter, energy, and yes…more LOVE!

And just for kicks, we thought we’d start the images with a cute little idea we had while shooting!

After my first phone conversation with Luccia (pronounced Lu-Chia), and finally learning how to say her unique name-I just knew this would be a fun shoot! Young, talented, & determined, this actress definitely knows the meaning of success! I truly could have spent all afternoon shooting with her! The lighting, weather, and mood of the shoot were all superb! On top of that, I also got to bring out my creative MUA skills and do Luccia’s make-up (that was super-fun)!

It was also great to learn more about Luccia’s creative side!

I look forward to working again in the future with Luccia and hope all her dreams & goals come true!

By the way, is it just me or does she seriously resemble Jessica Alba?!

Enjoy this little sneak preview!

When a photo session make you want to have images just like the ones you just delivered to your couple- then you know you are doing a great job!  This photo shoot was the hardest session to blog (yet)! I could not choose which ones to feature (and still can’t, Khaled had to decide on this one)! Every single image makes my heart skip a beat! This gorgeous couple is just as beautiful on the inside as they are on the outside!

Sherise & Anthony wanted to celebrate their love with a unique photo session and I LOVE how prepared they were! Sherise knew exactly which location she wanted and what they would be wearing. She needed little, if any guidance from us to plan this shoot!

My favorite part? When we finally met the day of the shoot, Sherise & Anthony  were so open to suggestions for posing and together we created some outrageously stunning imagery! I can’t wait to see a few of these images adorning their walls in some amazing canvases ( I might just have to order duplicates for my walls, haha)!

Sherise & Anthony, we had such a fun time with you both and can’t wait to document many more special moments in your relationship & future!

This is Khaled’s favorite image of the day:

Sherise, you are stunning. I am so glad we were able to convince you to take a few shots by yourself! ;)
Look at those eyes, need I say more?!
The best part of photoshoots-Capturing the true essence of relationships! There is just something in this image (on the left) that I adore!! Her quick kiss on his cheek and his expression: Priceless.
I.want.that.ring. Seriously, I am obsessed with it! Talk about GORGEOUS!!
If I had to choose my favorite shot of the day, it would be this one below! (Sigh…)
This was the very last shot of the night and we were wrapping up when I saw this! Too romantic to pass up! ;)
We started the shoot here and I LOVE how these images showcase the fun side of Sherise & Anthony! Anthony is going to have to give Khaled some salsa lessons, or is it the other way around?

I have so many gorgeous shoots and Ahh-mazing news to blog about and I admit, I am definitely running behind! But hopefully, I will be all caught up after this week! Hey, at least I have some goals! ;) But for now, I will share Lilian’s dazzling shoot! This girl has killer looks and the sweetest personality that combined are lethal!

Although we ran into some weather obstacles (what a surprise!) we didn’t let that get our mood! Lilian was such a trooper and I must say that her sister & my close friend, Joanna, and Holly from Collective Creations made this photo shoot possible! Holly is phenomenal at what she does and did a wonderful job on Lilian’s makeup and hairstyle! We love you Holly and look forward to working with you very soon!

Lilian attends St. Pete College, where she is pursuing her degree in Architecture. She wanted a very fun, urban, & stylish shoot that would tie in her personality and interests. I loved creating the perfect setting for her to feel free & beautiful (which she most certainly is!) It was awesome seeing our visions come together to create such fabulous shots!

It was such a struggle to choose favorites from the shoot for this post, but I was able to narrow it down a bit! ;) Thank you Lilian, for letting us get to know more about you! We can only wish the most success for such a fantastic girl!

Enjoy!
This bottom image (on the left) is my absolute favorite, it just describes Lilian’s infectious colorful personality, perfectly! :)

Khaled had a fun time shooting some fun lifestyle shots for local pro poker player, John Racener a few weeks ago. This 24 yr old made it to the final table at the WSOP and is headed to Vegas as part of the November Nine for the 2010 World Series of Poker Main Event, a shot at an $8.9 million jackpot! We were happily surprised to see him on the front page of the Tampa Bay & St. Pete Times this morning! Check out the screen shots below that link to the articles on TBT & learn more about this intriguing young man, his journey through a life many of us only dream about & the awesome people in his life. One in particular, is Jeff Gigante, his manager & co-owner of the Lodge, Ciccio’s, & The Lime, south Tampa restaurants, which we have had the pleasure of working with and shooting various locations for their websites (being designed by Tafuro Communications).

Currently in Greece, for the Merit Cyprus Classic, running the 17th-26th of August, John is definitely staying busy!

We wish him all the luck during this intense time!

Here are a few of our favorite images from John’s shoot! A big thank you to Vinny Tafuro, Jeff Gigante & wife, and everyone else that came out! :)
