We love working with Vinny Tafuro from Tafuro Communications! We have done several charity, event, restuarants, and other commercial photography projects with him and I enjoy that every assignment is always different and allows us to push our skills and creativity!

When Vinny called me to help him submit a photo to the Banana Republic Mad Men Casting Call, I knew two things: We would have to schedule some quick time in between our busy schedules ASAP & that we were gonna rock it out!;)

This was by far, the quickest mini-session, and I am so excited with the result! Thanks to the Don Vicente Inn de Ybor for allowing us to shoot the session there, it is a beautiful hotel! Vinny is going to have a hard time deciding which one to submit! Let us know your favorite in the comments below! I am sure he will appreciate the help! ;)

The much awaited blog post, Janelle’s FUN birthday shoot! :) You might remember Taylor from her first shoot with us last year! (Check out her images displaying our previous logo, wow, how we have grown as a business since then!)

When Taylor asked me for some unique ideas for a b-day present for Janelle, I was so excited to help! I think a photoshoot with friends is the most awesome birthday present! It’s a present that keeps giving all year ( or as long as you keep the beautiful images, lol)! Taylor and Janelle were going for a captivating  jungle-inspired theme, so I quickly threw a mood board together and I love how everything fell in place! It was a HOT day for the shoot and though pressed for time, Taylor & Janelle rocked it!  We were even able to sneak in a few head shots for Taylor’s portfolio! (view towards the end of the slideshow)

These ladies are headed for success and we are so happy to not only be their photographers, but more importantly,  their friends!! ♥

Have fun viewing this HAWT preview of their shoot!

Usually, I start a blog post with my writing and then I post the images, but I could not help myself this time! I had to start with the Jannette’s fabulous images first! Jannette is absolutely stunning, inside and out! You might remember her from a previous post, Odd Man Out. Jannette is an extremely talented young woman that is on a direct path to success! I was so happy when she contacted me for headshots because she is just a pleasure and so much fun to work with! I must say, I was in awe on how Jannette worked that camera! She was phenomenal and the lighting/weather on the morning of our session was amazing! I will probably be posting more images at a later time or linking a gallery to this post, I just can’t pick any favorites because ALL her images are rockin’!
By the way, I debuted as a make up artist this photo session too!! We had thought of a make up artist a little late in the game, so we were unable to set one up for our session but I busted out my mad skills, lol, and voila! Jannette’s make-up was flawless & pure perfection! I guess I will keep that in mind as a second job? What do you think? ;-)

I also shared (above) a beautiful message that Jannette left on my facebook wall a few hours after our session. It made our day, actually our week! Any photographer will tell you that it absolutely makes our job so much more rewarding when we here amazing feedback.
And Jannette, knowing that we could help you feel the way that you did, confirms to us why we pick up our cameras and head out the door every day!

I had the MOST difficult time choosing from all the fabulous images from Mel’s mini-session! :) She is absolutely stunning! Mel needed headshots for a poster on an upcoming event and I knew we would totally rock her session! We had been trying to schedule her session for over 2 months! LOL! She is one busy lady! ;-)
Mel is graduating this year with a Bachelor’s in Music and when she is not preforming the National Anthem for President Obama and Vice President Biden while they visit the Tampa Bay area (see image below)

or some other awesome events, she is editing away at the Minaret, the Univeresity of Tampa’s school newspaper, where she is the assistant editor-in-chief.

Mel, I wish you the best and I know you are on an amazing path to success!! Our session was a blast and I look forward to working with you again! ♥

I was so excited about this first image! It was the first shot of the session and my favorite!! :-) Enjoy!
Even though Mel only wanted headshots, I had to throw in this fabulous portrait! That blue looks fabulous on her and the downtown background is perfect! ♥
