One of the reasons I heart being a photographer, is being able to have a creative vision and making it a reality. Add to that vision, a talented team and their visions-and you create magic! Eyleen, you may recall, was our Summer Model Contest 2010 winner and we were so excited to work with her and create a fun photoshoot with a unique concept! Sadly, we had to postpone the shoot due to Eyleen’s car accident a few weeks after the contest. Thankfully, Eyleen made a speedy recovery and as everything happens in God’s time, it was great finally getting everyone together to create these amazing results!
I can not say it enough, I absolutely love working with Bryan and Tracey from Tampa Wonderworks Films and Holy Nazario from Collective Creations! I can’t get enough of their awesomeness! You can see another example of how much they rock, with our Fashion Rebel shoot! They are extremely talented and I feel blessed to not only have the opportunity to work with them, but to consider them our friends. Bryan came up with this shoot’s title, and I couldn’t have chosen a better one! I am at awe with how this shoot’s details all came together to create such an amazing piece. Holly’s attention to detail and fascinating hair and make-up styling (even at 6am!), Eyleen’s secret spot and favorite quotes, a few props and creative styling on our end, and Bryan’s incredible filming talent, just to name a few! We truly hope you enjoy these images and film as much as we did!

This time of year is my favorite! The holidays, the weather, but this year is even more special! Kismis Ink will be celebrating it’s one year anniversary in December! I just can’t believe how fast time flies! The next few weeks will be super busy, full of wonderful news & this pretty little blog will feel it, so stay tuned!
“We vow to share sighworthy photographs, exclusive vendors, enchanting details, and irresistible tales of true love. We live for all things sparkly, engagement shoots, destination weddings, and “I do” kisses. In essence, a variety of all things wedding!” -Alexandra, Bwed
A few months ago, I ran across a gorgeous wedding blog in-the-making, Bwed. I was drawn by it’s elegance and the blogger’s writing style. It was just eye-candy all over! I knew that my images needed to be displayed there! So, with wishful thinking, I submitted one of my engagement sessions. You can imagine my excitement when Alexandra wrote me back letting me know it would the very first engagement session on her blog and she would love to feature my couple, Stevi & Josh! When I saw the feature it was exactly as I envisioned. Alexandra’s words describing Stevi & Josh’s engagement shoot melted my heart, it was as if she had been there with us during the shoot. She is truly a talented writer! Alexandra’s beautiful wedding blog has continued to grow with more stunning content and imagery and I can only imagine what 2011 has in store for her, pure success and blessings!
Now, anyone that knows me, knows that I absolutely adore getting mail! Seriously, I am like a 3 yr old with candy! I check my mailboxes (yes, as in more than one, haha.) everyday and love the anticipation and the surprise! I was definitely surprised when I found a lovely little package from Alexandra! When I saw such gorgeous colors and yummy candy, I didn’t want to open it, haha! Naturally, I just had to snap some shots to share with my readers, do you see why I am in love with her blog so much?! Absolute eye candy! Unfortunately, the chocolate kisses didn’t survive too long after their little photoshoot, but I will treasure Alexandra’s card and words, always.
Thank you Alexandra, for taking the time to write me and for your sweet words (and the yummy kisses)! ;)
