Love just bursts from Karen and Rick. Only two seconds with them and you just know that

1. They are meant for each other,
2. True love does exist, and
3. They are the cutest couple EVER!!
When Karen contacted me months ago to visually document her special day, I was mesmerized by her energy and passion for life. We can definitely say there is not a dull moment in Karen & Rick’s lives. They take their love to the bottom of the ocean, enjoy the outdoors, and take in all of life’s blessings! Karen and Rick chose St. Augustine, FL to do their engagement session and I can only say that I want to pack up and move there. It is absolutely beautiful! There are so many hidden places of beauty and so much history. If you haven’t been, definitely check it out sometime. We planned their session around things that Karen and Rick enjoy, so what better way to start the session, than with their favorite Dairy Queen Blizzards?

Karen had shared with me that she is Rick’s princess and he is her prince, so I found the best castle in St. Augustine! No, not one of the real ones, but a playground castle! They are both so fun and goofy (in Karen’s own words) :) That the playground was a perfect fit!

A very special moment during the shoot was when we gave Karen and Rick a small gift that we found in a bookstore recently. It was a Joe Cocker record. What made it special was that Karen had told us that they had their first date at a Joe Cocker concert and we had come across the record and thought of them! We were so worried that it wasn’t the right singer, but we were relieved when we saw those big smiles!

The rest of the session was full of laughs, dancing, and finally relaxing at a gorgeous beach we found along the way.

Karen & Rick, we are honored to have spent time getting to know your beautiful souls! We can’t wait until Saturday, where your paths will be joined as one! God bless you both!

Enjoy this sneak peek from your lovely session!

We also created a special page just for Karen & Rick, be sure to check it out at karenandrick.kismisink.com
